Your Questions About Ovarian Cyst Reccurence

Sharon asks…

I had undergone a surgery of ovarian cyst removal 7 mths back, is there any possibility of recurrence of same?

i just done my abdominal sonography, every thing is normal, but i have heard some where that this may reoccur within 2 yrs and would be cancer , is there any one who had the same problem?
The ovarian cyst which i removed was non-cancer and after the fill AB sonography Doc said that the other overy is working in very normal condition, but i heard one of such case in which the cyst again occured and was detected as cancer , so i am very disturbed after listening such news, so i want to confirm is there any body who had undergone such situation or else?

Clare answers:

Sharon, ovarian cysts are a normal part of the reproductive process, and usually go away on their own, it is when there is a malfunction that they become troublesome. If you have already had some troublesome cysts, yes it can reccur and very often it does. You can prevent ovarian cysts from reccuring in a natural way, there is a whole system developed for that and described very helpfuly in a book called Ovarian Cyst Miracle.

Regarding the ovarian cancer – it is rare and cysts themselves don’t cause it. If you only had an ovarian cyst removed and nothing cancerous was found in the removed cyst, you don’t need to worry about that.

My general advice for you at the moment would be boosting your immunity and prevent ovarian cysts from reccuring.

Healthy days! :-)
